Waited over 40 minutes for our food and it all arrived COLD. The staff was indifferent to our concerns. We ended up taking food home to reheat and eat there. Very poor customer service and communication.
I was with a party of seven other individuals. We waiting about 20 minutes in the lobby to be seated. Once seated our orders were finally taken.

During a recent visit to the IHOP location off Route 17 in Fredericksburg, our party of two was seated in a section occupied by multiple large groups, including parties of 14. This placement significantly impacted our experience, as the staff appeared overwhelmed and inattentive. As a result, the service we received was poor, and the overall visit was disappointing.

My sister and I walked into IHOP around 8:15 am today (04/13/25). We stood there for a few minutes, then the lady cashier walked over and asked us if we wanted the middle table because there were no other seats available. My sister said it’s not a problem. While we were waiting, another man came by and started talking with her. She then asked him to come over to the counter while we were still waiting. The gentleman looked at us and pointed out whether we got served or not. She acted as if she totally forgot about us. She then said to follow her. I noticed that there’s an empty side so I asked if we could use it. Mind you, when we walked in, there was no one behind us and it was a long wait because the cashier decided to take her time. I am not sure if she was the shift leader or whatever, but she was not fit to be a representative for IHOP.
Thankfully, our server Katie was so kind and very accommodating. She was very respectful and apologetic for being late because there were others customers who were already in the restaurant. We love her and we made sure she got our best support. Food was great even though my sister didn’t get the rest of her order. I wouldn’t go back to this location unless they give Katie a promotion to take care of business. This was my second time here and they only gave half and half creamer saying that everything changed two years ago, even though I was there less than a year ago and got all the creamers I asked for.

Didn’t even get the chance to sit down here. Host said 15 minute wait. So we sat down to wait for a half hour with the waiter casting glances at us until we asked where we were in the queue only to find out he never put us in the queue in the first place. Dismissive and unpleasant.

if I could do 0 I would 1130 at night and no one here and been sitting waiting to be checked on asked for box 5 mins has passed still no box. cigarette breaks must be priority

EDIT: raised the stars after manager agreed to remake food. After waiting an hour for food and getting up to get our own silverware, the server brought us cold food. My English muffin won't melt butter. My veggie omelet isn't even close to what is represented in the photo. They served me half of what I was expecting.

Where to start? From the first person who greeted us to the server who was super polite, knew her menu and checked on us while we stayed was great. My breakfast was delicious and my daughter said that she loved it.

Love this place! Half-price meals on Wednesdays for old folks like me are a real blessing. Good servers and good managers are what you will find here.

We were seated quickly but sat at our table for 10 mins without any acknowledgement from any of the wait staff that appeared to be wandering around aimlessly. Our server was too busy flirting with guys at the next table. Very disappointed but there’s a better iHop next exit down.

I was very hesitant to visit this restaurant due to my previous unsatisfied experiences at two other IHOP's.
The fact that it is close to the hotel that stayed in, I thought I would try at least one more time.
I'm glad I did. They exceeded my expectations with the food, service, and cleanliness.
Michael, the waiter was outstanding, somehow making all his customers feel as though they were his only, even while trying to handle the overflow traffic that arrived while I was there.
I noticed that every employee in the restaurant began helping to be sure everyone was satisfied.
This is an example of what I expect from this business, and I was glad that I tried another one on this day.
Hats off to the management, great staff!

Don't go here. Had the displeasure of being served by Patrick Trantham, who ruined my order and proceeded to give me a lecture on how he doesn't make mistakes. Asked for a refund, which took him 15 minutes to complete because he misplaced my signed receipt. Total incompetence and a poor representation of the service that I've received here from other members of the staff.
