Fantastic dining area, with cool stuff to look at on the walls while you eat. As for the food, had a 51st and was not disappointed. Piled high with meat, and really filling. The homemade draft root beer is to die for, you can taste the difference from canned or soda fountain draft. Met the owner, Ben, super cool guy. 10/10 would recommended

Went out for an afternoon ride and stopped by Maggie’s Subs and I’m glad I did.Super friendly folks. Delicious sandwiches and home brewed root beer. It’s like stepping into a mini Fredericksburg museum.

Update from my previous review: Management reached out to me and after reviewing the camera footage of this transaction, it was determined that the tip button was inadvertently touched before the transaction was completed. Management is mailing a reimbursement check. Good on them for caring about customer satisfaction and making it right. I would like to add that the draft root beer at Maggie's is fantastic!

Food was good and the service was great! We came in after a photo shoot and didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! A gem.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for somewhere to eat for lunch, while walking around downtown Fredericksburg. Lots of different sandwich choices to choose from. They also have a soup and sandwich combo. My wife had the clam chowder soup with a sandwich. The clam chowder soup was incredible. Honestly, one of the best clam chowders I have ever eaten and an unexpected surprise. The sandwich bread was fresh and the sandwiches used quality meats. A nice touch is they offer home brewed cream soda and root beer as well. If it is a nice day, they have outside seating behind the restaurant on a tiered deck. Very relaxing and peaceful place to eat.

1st time here but have wanted to try for awhile. Quick turnaround after ordering during lunch rush. Really good sub and root beer. New local favorite

Great daily specials, lovely courtyard for dining, very nice counter service. We had 2 of the daily soup specials (tomato and potato). Also had an assortment of sandwiches. The shrimp salad sandwich was amazing. Shrimp cooked perfectly and just the right amount of salad on a lobster roll.

It was bratwurst day at Maggies. The ladies behind the counter greeted us with a smile and appreciation. The brats were very good. Definitely worth coming back here.

The sandwiches have zero taste! I’ve tried it 3 times and it was boring and so not worth it!!

Stopped by Himalayan Heritage for a late lunch and the food and service was great. We were seated upon arrival and our waitress took our order. I got the chicken biryani which is the most authentic biryani around here. My date got the chicken tiki which was very tasty. We could not decide on whether to get garlic naan or herb naan, so we got both. Since this is my review I get to say the garlic naan is best! Will definitely return to try some other menu items..

Maggies is a delicious Italian style deli in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg. I ordered the 51st NY sub (Salami, Pepperoni, Capicola, Mortadella, provolone, and toppings). I can assure you that this is as close to an Italian deli sandwich as you will find around here. My lunch date got the Ruben, which was awesome.Make sure you sit outback, it is cooler and quieter and just an all around pleasurable experience, couple that with the delicious food and it's a home run.

Downtown has been missing a deli. This place fills that gap perfectly. Their sandwiches were excellent, as was the homemade root beer and cream soda. Better than average chip selection too with brands I've never seen before. I hope this place is successful!
