Everything biscuit was Everything!! chicken wings and chicken sandwich was so tasty and well season. perfect crispness. Everyone enjoyed their meals and left full and satisfied. Fresh ingredients and nice options for diners with varied pallets.š

First time here and most likely will never come back. My boyfriend and I live in downtown, fxbg and have been to almost every restaurant downtown. Iām not sure of our waitresses name, but she was a middle aged black woman with braids. If we ever do come back here, weāll respectfully ask to have someone else in the event sheās our server again. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed. Once we got our food, she never ensured all was well. I understand being busy, but quickly checking on a table and asking if everything is okay is the least she couldāve done. Iām HUGE on customer service and this was a major let down. In addition to not checking on us whatsoever, after it appeared that we were done with our food, she just brought us our check ā didnāt ask if we were done, if we wanted anything else, and still didnāt ask whether everything was good. I had to request a box without being asked if I wanted one (my shrimp and grits bowl was clearly half full), and the last time we saw her was when she brought the check. I could understand this type of service had we been rude people from the jump; however, we werenāt at all. Iām so disappointed. Nonetheless, we still tipped her 20% which was way more than she deserved. We wouldāve been wrong if we hadnāt tipped her thoughā¦.. If I were Mercantile, Iād be mortified to have her represent my business. I mean, honestly top 3 worst experiences weāve had. I could go into more detail, but not worth my time.
My son and daughter-in-law took me to breakfast/lunch. Gabby our waitress was fabulous. She helped make suggestions and food was very good. Especially loved the potato salad.

We ate outside because it was a gorgeous day. They are listed as Foode on the sign, but I guess they merged with the Mercantile. It's a reasonably priced place for breakfast or luck and serves top fresh ingredients. I enjoyed my Fredericksburg Burger. Simple and delicious. The service, even outdoors was great. Indoors, there is a nice atmosphere, as well. I will definitely be returning soon.

If, youāre a Foodie. Then, you must eat here!!! The cozy Atmosphere, Service, Food and Cocktails are top notch! Undoubtedly, āthe BESTā Shrimp š¦ and Grits in the entire DMV (D.C.; Maryland; Virginia) and Iām a GRiT-oLOGiSTš©š¼āš. Also, the Chocolate Chip Cookies šŖ are so delightful. Everything is worthy. But, donāt take my word for it; Go experience this Gem for yourselves.
