My Little Italy’s Pizza

Decided to try this place for a pizza. Don't bother, one of the worst we have had in Fredericksburg. If you are looking for a good NY style pizza, head to Castiglia's, Jen's, Primavera or Benny's.

I've ordered from here well over 12 times on DoorDash—honestly, it's kind of embarrassing how often! The first four to Five times, the pizza was absolutely incredible—cooked to perfection, probably some of the best pizza I've ever had.

Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. I'm not sure if there was a change in staff or if the new cook wasn’t properly trained, but the quality dropped dramatically. The pizzas became almost inedible, which was really disappointing. I gave it a few more tries, hoping it was just a fluke, because I know how amazing your food can be—but sadly, the quality never bounced back.

At this point, I’ve decided I won’t be ordering from here again. I hope things improve in the future, because your early food was genuinely top-tier.

We ordered from Little Italy in Fredericksburg, VA last night through Uber Eats. The delivery was prompt, which we appreciated, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our experience.

We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, a Sicilian pizza with pepperoni, and an 8-count of mumbo wings. Upon opening the spaghetti, we were immediately hit with an overwhelming dirty dishrag smell, as if the noodles had been cooked in unclean water. It was so off-putting that I couldn’t bring myself to take a single bite.

Next, the Sicilian pizza was missing the pepperoni we specifically ordered. To make matters worse, the crust was tough and tasted like cardboard, while the overall flavor made it clear they had used the cheapest possible ingredients.

As for the mumbo wings, the sauce was nothing more than overly sweet ketchup, lacking any of the tangy, savory flavor you would expect.

This was our first time trying Little Italy, and it will certainly be our last. We were thoroughly disappointed with the poor quality, lack of attention to detail, and overall lackluster flavors. I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt compelled to share our experience and discourage others from wasting their money here.

Amazing staff and food! Pizza and wings were delicious. Owner gave my kids free chips at the end which was very personable. The interior and atmosphere can do a bit more upgrading and cleanliness of the facility were not that great. Overall, the food and owner would be worth coming back for.

I’m From Prince George’s County Maryland. THIS IS A MISSLE!!!! Perfectly cooked large 2 topping pizza. The dough had set for the right amount of time after prep based on my knowledge of pizza making. Cheese was beautifully cooked along with crust. Ate so fast I couldn’t take a picture

Ordered the margherita pizza, not impressed at all. Maybe it would have been good if the dough wasn't soggy and the toppings weren't all sliding off the pizza. Unlike most Italian places with a crispy crust, this was a pan pizza. On a positive note, the sauce is really good but other than that the pizza isn't.
