I needed to pull off for food after a long drive. I had been thinking about Popeye’s for several days, because I hadn’t eaten there for several years. I got a spicy chicken sandwich and a side of macaroni and cheese. It was ready almost immediately and it was delicious. Back on the road with a smile.

They basically stole our money. We got home and the chicken was hard, lukewarm, dry@ and old. Sides were hot but the chicken was almost inedible. Would take too much time to return so we fed it to the dogs. Make sure you check your food before leaving the line.

Popeyes quality seems to vary greatly from location to location. I'm pleased to report it's excellent here. The service surprised me though. Much friendlier and more professional than you often see in fast food today.
