Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

We drove across town to grab some Rita’s, and got here 15 minutes before closing to be told the custard machine is off because they close soon. If you’re open until 8pm, you should be able to serve your customers until your business is closed. Not trying to get done with your shift as soon as possible.

This was the most disappointing and disgusting frozen coffee I've ever had. It's unfortunate as I was very excited to try this product. The young lady that made it put so much caramel syrup in it, my stomach was hurting a few sips in.

If it's the older lady, Make sure you REPEAT your order ? it'll be your fault if the order is wrong and she wont refund you. No such thing as good customer service anymore.

I had a terrible experience today!! I ordered a quart of vanilla ice cream, the girl gave me a large vanilla ice. I said that wasn't my order. She kept insisting I ordered "ice" not ice cream and apperantly they don't offer a quart for ice (which she should have mentioned before I paid). Anyway, she said: "That's what you ordered. Take it or leave it but I can't give you a refund."

A bit of a history. I love vanilla custard. I hate any kind of dyed ice: shaved ice, icees and so on.

I have a light accent because I wasn't born in the US. They have a glass between a customer and a sales person. So, I suggested she didn't hear me right. Long story short, I will NEVER go that RITA's again. I am SUPER upset. Not because I lost a few bucks but because they wait the treated me there.

My son freaked out and started crying. Worst experience in 19 years in the US!

Rita's was a lifesaver on a scorcher of a day! Their Italian ice is perfectly refreshing – intense fruit flavors that are icy cold and absolutely delicious. The frozen custard is like music to my ears (and taste buds) – rich, creamy, and so decadent. The staff was friendly and super efficient, and the whole experience was a breeze. Rita's offers great value for such high-quality treats – can't wait to go back!

My husband and I visited here for the first time and got Sundays. We ended up getting small, to make sure it was good . We ended up loving them. We went back the next day and were specific about how we wanted our Sundays made and they made them the way they wanted To make it. ( I guess bc they were busy) But if we pay for extra toppings, extra toppings should be on them; We didn't say anything. We just enjoyed our ice cream Sundays. Then the next day we decided to take our whole family. Again my husband and I ordered the Sundays. He got small and I got large. We were specific once again on how we wanted it made... when our order was complete his small was no different than my large.. for the price there definitely should be a big difference in the quantity of a small Sunday and a Large.. The only way we could tell which Sundays were who's , was because my husband had caramel on his and I got chocolate. If we both got chocolate we would not have known what the large was and what the small was. This definitely needs to change. We really love the taste but are very disappointed in the portion of what we are getting.. especially for the price. I gave it four stars because we absolutely love it, but we will go again for this last time to see if this is a spot that we would visit and take our family that comes in from out of town and rate them once more.

Is this place under new management? We’ve gone to Rita’s for years. Tons of locations. The servings have always been great. We normally have to order kids sizes, and the cones have always been several inches high of ice cream. We visited this weekend, and was astonished at the tiny amount of ice cream. I ordered a small (thankfully not kids) cup of custard. I wish I had taken a picture. The cup was not even half full. I am not exaggerating when I say it was 1/4 the usual amount. I can’t imagine what a kids size would have been. The cones I ordered for the kids were tiny as well. Wish I hadn’t tipped 20% BEFORE I got the order. We won’t be visiting here again.

I made a Rita's run for my co-workers for a sweet treat. After spending $100 and $0.87 and leaving a $15 tip for the 10 QT of Italian Ice I just ordered I was told that she couldn't give me scoopers for the Italian ice because she just didn't have them. Mind you the other young lady that works there had just given me a premade care package with scoopers in them that the other lady asked for back, she could have just as easily given me two of those. Okay again I just spent $100 and left a $15 tip I don't think two scoopers would have broke the bank for them. I'll give my hundred dollars to another Rita's and my $15 tip. I guess customer satisfaction isn't important there
