This is our new favorite place. Everything is delicious and the service is always friendly. The chicken over rice is my favorite and I love the chickpeas and French fries.

Wayward travelers wanting something (ethnically) different.... a change. WE GOT IT ! ! We walked into what we thought was either a restaurant or a fast food take-out place. WRONG ! This was both, in-house and take-out in AFGHAN colorfully themed items with pictures, AFGHAN memorabilia, and an obviously proud - hard working man (the owner) greeting - educating - AND making us feel like we were 'APPRECIATED". Selections made he disappeared into the kitchen to FRESHLY prepare the most wonderfully seasoned KABOB PLATTERS you could ask for. A young robed man entered and went directly to the kitchen where serious words of "direction" were heard from the chef/owner, who we later learned was the father of this young man teaching his son tools of the trade.....This food: PROUDLY EHNIC AFGHAN - DELICIOUS - PLENTIFUL - WELL SEASONED - HEALTHY - FAIRLY PRICED and PROUDLY PRESENTED WITH CARE AND HONOR !Steve and Barbara B. - ELMIRA, NY TRULY $$$ WORTH IT $$$

Stopped at hotel. This place was nearby so we wanted to try. It was so good, like crazy delicious.The flavors were amazing! We ordered super combos and it was a lot of great food! Recommend 100%. Staff attentive, not a long wait. Perfect

Went here randomly for a work lunch (supporting local ❤️) and I was SHOCKED the food was so good. A reminder that the shabby places are often the best tasting . I was definitely skeptical at first but the server explained there had been some water damage ti another part of the huge building that didn’t affect the restaurant portion. The restaurant was clean and didn’t smell or appear unhygienic. Food was actually really delicious. I will definitely be ordering again , take out this next time ❤️

A local gem! I highly recommend visiting this location if you want great Afghan food. We did not try and of the Italian dishes. We enjoyed the ground beef, chicken, lamb, and vegetable kabobs. We also had the chicken gyro, sambosa, and the hummus. The hummus appeared to be freshly made and was delicious, and had a beautiful presentation. The chickpeas were flavorful and my wife's favorite Chana Masala type dish so far. The spinach was a hit my with father and we had to get some extra to go.The gentleman who was working was very friendly and patient as we took our time with the menu.We are looking forward to many more visits to this location.Parking: Dozen spaces at least, and easily accessible from I-95 and Rt-17, fairly close to Rt-1.
