Fantastic market. I felt out of my element walking in but when I asked an employee for an item I didn't quite know the correct name for, she knew EXACTLY what I meant and where it was. She did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. The owner overheard and told me the product had been bought out but knew exactly when it was coming in and told me what day and time to come back. This restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat. Their food is always fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavor. One of my absolute favorite dishes is their lamb kabab and chicken kabab. We visited Sadaqat Halal Market & Restaurant as a family late at night and ended up being the last customers, but the staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. We never felt rushed, and the service was excellent.
The food was outstanding — easily the best Afghan food we’ve had, even better than other spots in Fredericksburg. The market also has a great selection of products at very reasonable prices.
