Jerk chicken was very dry over seasoned and tasted like it was at least a day old and just re cooked . Rice was over cooked . This place used to be good but this was my last time going here

First visit to this location. I ordered oxtail, rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. All was good and tasty. I didn't get the extra gravy as asked, but that's my fault for not checking. The front desk lady was super friendly and suggested I taste the stew chicken. It was pretty good also. I also purchased a spicy beef patty. ? everything was good. I would return.

My fiancé and I typically order from here as well as I order from the food truck at work sometimes. Food is good however our most recent order while eating it I bit and swallowed some small pieces of metal like things that were in the gravy I assume. It resembled the bristles from the grill brush but I could be wrong. At first I thought it was foil paper but it was a little too hard to be that and it also was in tiny strips that I was spitting out. This kind of make me nervous to order from here again. (I had oxtail and jerk chicken)

The food is delicious, bursting with flavor. I have had the fried fish with peppers, onions, and vinegar. I have also had the beef patty and curry chicken with rice and peas along with cabbage. The portion sizes are more than adequate and everything tastes amazing! The customer service was excellent. Go try this place.
I’ve asked for extra curry gravy for my Curry Chicken spread over the rice as well as for extra Oxtail gravy/sauce for that rice. This was my 3rd and done unfortunately. And, this last order of Oxtails (Lg.) was horrible and tough. As I waited inside this time, the tables had a sticky film. Not sure when the last food safety health inspection occurred; not clear on the website. I owned a sub shop and was on top before personal circle. Please do better. All I asked for was extra sauce/gravy/ juice over the rice…

I really wanted to believe all the 4–5 star reviews, but unfortunately, that has not been my experience. About a year ago, when I first started eating there, the food was just okay, even very good at times. I'm not sure what happened, but the quality and taste have gone downhill lately. They previously served me spoiled, overly salty curry goat. Recently, I decided to give them another shot and ordered brown stew chicken. It barely tasted like chicken and was excessively salty, a bit overcooked & sour; it was not pleasant. I’ll wait a few months to try again to see if they‘ve improved. Give them a try and share your experience.

This was my first time to this restaurant and I will definitely be back. Everything I ordered was delicious and the right amount of spice. Prices were a little high but the portions and taste made it completely worth every cent.
I'm so glad we hit the winery last night and this wonderful food truck was there. Absolutely the best jerk chicken and pork I've had. The wife had the brown stew and it was fantastic. The rice was amazing and the cabbage was pretty good.
I would have put a bit more flavor in cabbage but I also ate two helpings so I should just shut up :-) Seriously, the food was amazing, the gentleman that took our order was engaging and helpful.
Now I know there's a restaurant that I can go grab an order anytime I want. Thank you, it was delicious!!

Taste of Trelawny was at the Estate at White Hall Vineyard in King George tonight and I ordered the Jerk chicken, rice &peas with cabbage and plantains and the food was absolutely amazing. Would definitely eat here again!
