we live 2 hours from this restaurant and always find a way to stop and eat. this past time I was traveling through and called ahead to order a pick up so I can take it home. fantastic dinner to eat after an 8 hour trip. I always see to end up with a pork dish. you can't go wrong!
Wife and I went there for early dinner for first time. I ordered a liter of German beer without realizing it would come in a huge mug. My surprise didn't keep me from enjoying it. I started with Frikadellen (meatballs topped with creamy bacon mushroom sauce & Swiss cheese). Wow. Great unique flavor. I ordered Schweinshaxe (pork shank) for main course and it was also delicious. My wife had caesar salad and reuben sandwich. She found them very good.
Outstanding!! Not to be missed!! Everything made from scratch!! We will be back again and again!! Charles our server is a prize!! Everyone was delighted by the food!!! Kids got kid sized drinks, thank you,thank you,thank you!!! This was the best part of our trip!! Prost!!
