During the time I went was during Thanksgiving Weekend, so it was really full. Normally it has a bit more space and more parking, for sure. The waitress was absolutely lovely, very patient and understanding. She was hospitable and amazing. Honestly, all the workers there seemed lovely. They meshed well together and had a nice vibe. The food was great, like usual. I've never had a bad Waffle House meal. It's a comfort food that's usually cheap. I would absolutely recommend a Waffle House of any sorts.

I travel full-time for work and have visited Waffle House locations in nearly every state. Without question, this one stands out as the best I’ve experienced.
From 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm, I sat in my red flannel jacket observing the staff and atmosphere. The team was upbeat, professional, and truly impressive. Customer service was exceptional—every staff member carried themselves with positivity and care. I was especially pleased to see gloves being worn while preparing food, something I haven’t seen in years.
My order was prepared exactly as requested and tasted delicious. The cook went above and beyond, checking in with guests, offering refills, and making sure everyone felt taken care of. Cleanliness was top-notch, both behind the counter and throughout the seating area.
What really stood out was the team environment. The staff worked together seamlessly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that’s rare to find these days. As someone who spends most of my time on the road, moments like this mean a lot. I’ve been feeling a bit down lately, but the positive energy here lifted my spirits.
I finished my meal but decided to stay a while longer, sipping tea and enjoying the environment. Thank you, Waffle House on Route 17 in Fredericksburg, VA—you’ve set the bar high. I’ll be back often during my time here. ❤️ Wish I could rate them a 10
I was just getting off of work and I wanted a waffle and it was so good and comforting. But I messed up when I got home I was still hungry and was like . I should have got the whole breakfast 😩. So next time I will just order the whole meal.
