I was hesitant to try the Windy City Cafe after reading some of the reviews but so glad I did. Fries has become my wife and my favorite vacation spot. Tonight we decided to try the cafe and happy we did. The service, the food and the atmosphere were spot on. We will definitely be back!
Down home country cooking with a view of the New River. Cute decor and friendly service, prices good for the portions.
Vegetarian options: You can get a veggie plate, but most of it is fried.

Food is tasty and inexpensive, our milkshakes were lovely!
Service can be a bit slow, especially if busy, but not because staff aren’t working hard to get orders out. It just means you get to enjoy the river and company you’re with a bit longer!
We’ll be back next time we’re in town!
