This place is amazing, my family and I were in town enjoying the river and views and had dinner here. The food was amazing, but the best part is the Hospitality!!! I was having a hard time getting reception for Google Maps, and the staff here went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get Internet and get my map loaded so we could continue on our way! Great place, can't wait to go back!
Great little spot to grab a bite to eat! Right next to the New River Trail so convenient for a pre or post run/bike/hike/etc.
Food is tasty and inexpensive, our milkshakes were lovely!
Service can be a bit slow, especially if busy, but not because staff aren’t working hard to get orders out. It just means you get to enjoy the river and company you’re with a bit longer!

I was hesitant to try the Windy City Cafe after reading some of the reviews but so glad I did. Fries has become my wife and my favorite vacation spot. Tonight we decided to try the cafe and happy we did. The service, the food and the atmosphere were spot on. We will definitely be back!
