Yes I would eat here again with the family and the kids. One of the only breakfast places in Gainesville.4 stars Here I give is equivalent to a B+. I am giving this diner the benefit of the doubt, due to the fact that I went during a busy time. However, I was very disappointed. I will start with the good. I was greeted and the staff seemed friendly. I ordered an Omelet with home fries and coffee. They started off strong, my server immediately took my drink order and when she returned, she took my food order. Husband and I eat breakfast on Sundays at Gainesville Diner. Such a friendly atmosphere, our food is always delicious and hot. Amy is always our waitress--she is absolutely amazing, always friendly, and makes us feel as though we are her very dear friends. She brings us our coffee first thing without us even having to ask for it. The food is great, but Amy is what makes Gainesville Diner so very special.
