Staff is very rude. Went in a Saturday morning with my two kids. There was no seating, so I went to the register to order but informed the person that I’d like seating but since there was nothing available and I’ve got 2 hungry kids, I’ll just order. Trummer's Coffee and Wine Bar offers delicious food and drinks in a great atmosphere. It is a perfect lowkey and local brunch destination with noteworthy coffee and cocktails. Recently, there has been a positive change in the service, with new staff who are friendly and attentive. The staff, including Tony, JR, and Jordan, make everyone feel welcome and taken care of. While the service may have declined over the years, the current team ensures that food and drinks are served quickly and efficiently, making it stand out among other local options. The Baked Brie and Beignes are particularly recommended, and the ham and cheese croissant has been praised for its flaky golden crust and soft interior with ham and melted Swiss cheese. The menu is healthy, delicious, and affordable, with drinks that are also fantastic. The bar is neat and organized, contributing to a cleaner and brighter environment. With quick service and a pleasant ambiance, it's an ideal place for a leisurely Sunday lunch or a vibrant Saturday evening out. The chocolate tart and paninis are also worth trying, along with the Apfel Cake, which reminds customers of homemade European desserts. This cafe has maintained a certain charm and uniqueness in quality and style of cuisine that really stands out, making Gainesville fortunate to have it. The warm and cozy atmosphere, combined with smooth and creamy coffee, makes it a gem worth revisiting.
