It's a shame what has came of this neighborhood staple. It was once one of the best in town but it's slowly became an absolute disaster. We love the menu and have been coming back for 20 years but it really needs some help. If you dine here plan on 2hrs plus, if you call in allow an hour or more. Out of town visitors. We received quick, professional, friendly service in a highly decorated, clean, interesting setting. Plenty of seating. A huge menu of mostly sandwiches - a few seafood options and very few vegetarian options. My lunch date ordered a chicken salad while I had the fish sandwich with potato chips. A worthy stop - we were glad we chose this restaurant over the others on this quaint strip.

We thought we would give macados galax another try to see if service was better- it wasnt.Waited for someone to come up to the desk to seat us- she looked as if she just woke up- the young man that took is to our table seemed to be the only one that knew what he was doing.Sat down and all the waitress did was apologize to folks behind us for having them wait too long. She then came back 15 minutes later to apologize for not getting our drinks. Walked out

This is a great place to impress your friends with your superpowers of being invisible. We were in town from Indiana for a wedding and were ignored for over an hour. The service was absolutely terrible. We got up and left.

Went there doing door dash and they took 50 minutes to make the order and were very rude and disrespectful and of course made me get a ding for really late delivery with doordash. I will most certainly never go there to eat or to pick up orders through door dash. This place is just outright disgusting

Tonight, our group (5 people) got to the restaurant about 7 pm. We sat down, our waitress took a few minutes to get to us, brought us drinks, and came back to get our order. Then we didn't see her. For a full hour. We needed refills and the only food to come out was a chicken salad that did not have chicken in it. One of us had to go to the front and asked about our food. 15 minutes later our food came out. Cold. Our waitress was unapologetic and she clearly didn't care. Never saw her smile one time. Flippant. I had to have my food cooked again which made everybody else have to wait. Waitress needs to learn how to do her job and smile.

Didn't even get a table. Hostess said they were short staffed. Said they were only seating till 7 :20 We were there at 6:50. Said they only had two waitersSaw someone walking around in kitchen drinking a soda. They obviously have no management tonight.

Would not answer the phone. Can't order online as it always says not accepting orders right now. And when you order extra and pay for it you get literally half a cup but paid for a full cup.

We rented a place up in the mountains for a week and ate here twice. Highly recommend this place! The food was delicious and the sandwiches are truly overstuffed!

High dollar food . If it’s to go check it before u leave. Four chesse sticks with sauce 9 bucks give u an idea . Service is poor. . Place is ok on clean wise . Bathrooms look like hell. Most workers out back .

Ordered salad and wings and fries all with ranch and another bowl of ranch and got none. Had to wait an hour for my other order of ranch. When I asked how long it was going to take the man taking my order said “what do you want me to do about it”.
