The food is delicious, the owner is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and the atmosphere is nice! The best pizza in the area by far and all of their food is made with fresh ingredients!
Franco’s is a unique hidden gem in Gate City, Virginia. Excellent gelato and pizza but what’s really amazing is what he’s done with the full space. There is a connected antique market with a bar and band area upstairs. Then on top of that, he has built a 65 foot slot car race track that you would never imagine could be in this small Virginia town. We took a group of 50 high schoolers there and raced for 3 hours. Franco’s Bistro is such a fun surprise. The food was great, but the real highlight was Franco himself, who was so warm and genuinely amazing that it made the whole visit feel special. On top of that, they have a little racetrack where you can drive small toy cars, which had everyone smiling and laughing all night. It’s a rare mix of great food, great fun, and a host who truly makes you feel welcome. We will definitely be back soon!
