One of the best Indian Restaurants in the Greater Richmond Area.

Service was amazing! So kind and polite and made sure everything came out amazing. The food? Fantastic. The food is consistent and delicious every time. Great prices for wine as well. Will always come back.

I visited for lunch and started with the lamb chops and seekh kabab appetizers. Everything was absolutely delicious! The ambience was wonderful, and the service was truly awesome. Highly recommend!

We came into town for two nights and chose Anant on our first night strictly by the location convenience for us. It was so amazingly delicious that we returned the second night to try other menu options, and the second night was just as delicious!
They had menu options that I haven't seen in any other Indian restaurant, and I picked two of those.
Everyone in my party of four were absolutely thrilled with their dishes. Two of my party are vegan, and they had several options to choose from!
I would confidently recommend Anant to anyone, and I will happily eat here again if I get back to the area!

Fabulous food and service from
start to finish! Prices are extremely reasonable, great to see they added the prawn on puri to the menu! I tried the mango chicken for the first time and it was incredible!! Great job Anant!

​An absolute nightmare from start to finish. I booked the private party room with the owners, Avtar and Nissa Rathod, a full two months in advance to celebrate my daughter’s high school graduation. We arrived with a party of 20, expecting a special celebration, only to find Nissa had completely blindsided us. They gave our confirmed private room to a children's birthday party and callously shoved us into the chaotic, high-traffic general seating right by the front entrance.
​Our plans were completely ruined—we couldn't set up the decorations or play the games we brought. To make matters worse, they dumped our food on the tables in cold trays without a single food warmer, leaving us to eat freezing, aggressively salty food in the drafty entryway. What was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime milestone for my daughter was utterly humiliated by these owners. They showed zero decency, refused to even apologize, and exhibited the most disgusting behavior I’ve ever witnessed in hospitality. Save yourself the heartbreak: do not step foot in this restaurant.

Worst service.
Served cold food to our party of 20.
Messed our booking that was setup 2 months in advance. Restaurant double booked causing us to cram our party of 20 for my daughter's graduation party to a row next to the door where others were trying to get our food and disturbing.
This restaurant and it's management left us with a horrible experience during what was supposed to be a milestone day of celebration for my daughter and us.
I will never return to this restaurant and will always speak negatively abt their service. The owners know who we're are and a simple apology for your wife's poor management of reservation and service would be nice.

It was a nice day and had the enjoyment of being seated on the patio. All of the dishes we got were quick and delicious. Normally going for traditional Indian food I went a little differently and went for the rusty chaat. Delicious and would go back to try others. The vegetable samosas, Mango curry chicken and the kids butter chicken were all delicious and truly couldn't get enough. The Naan was also exquisite. The bullet Naan and garlic were all amazing. Food had great flavor. Staff was attentive; kind and helpful with any food questions we had.

I’m so glad we decided to go here. I actually asked ChatGPT for a solid Indian place in the Innsbrook area and it said “Go here”, so we did. The service, atmosphere, and food were excellent. Lots of more unique dishes that we hadn’t had before. We were truly impressed and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Always an incredible experience at Anant. The food is delicious always. The environment is warm and welcoming. The owner and the servers are always so kind and excellent. The kale chaat is so unique and delicious!
