Amazing food, super friendly service, and a very relaxed, casual atmosphere. Generous portions of rich, delicious food that is extremely well-balanced: never too spicy, too sweet, too salty, or too heavy... Flavors were satisfying and just right.

We had the queso frito with house-made garlic cilantro sauce and hot sauce, chorizo and pabellón arepas, and a chicken empenada. The queso frito was personally my favorite thing we had... When dipped in both sauces...

I have never been here before, but I can promise you I will start frequenting this place way more often. The atmosphere, the food, the service, all flawless. I ordered an arepa with steak, cheese, avocado, and tomato, plus a chicken empanada. They were incredible. Can’t wait to try more of the menu!

Such a good place for lunch! The food is great and the staff is so friendly! The arepas are so delicious and so filling! This past time, I got a ham and cheese arepa and a chicken empanada! If you want authentic Venezuelan food, you should certainly try Bocata out! You will want to check to see if they are open before you go, as they have more restricted hours than most restaurants.
