My 2nd attempt to eat there. Though they close at 2:00 a.m., we arrived shortly before 1am, and the kitchen was closed! We were the only people of color there. They have karaoke and games, and plenty to drink, if you like it slightly on the wild side. Some inebriated chicken dropped a whole up of beer on the ground and it spilled all over my feet before I ever got in the building. I probably won't be going back unless it's earlier in the evening.
It's a dive bar that may be scary on the outside but they will welcome you on the inside. Don't be scared of this place. I've lived in the area for 20 years and went today for the first time and it was perfectly fine. I didn't eat anything but I think if you break the first barrier you're doing something.
The Dugout Bar and Grill is hands down one of the best spots in town for a burger. The bacon cheeseburger was cooked perfectly to order and packed with flavor. Great service from start to finish, and the prices are way more affordable than the trendy craft burger places around town. Honestly, the burgers here are much better too. If you want a great meal without overpaying, this is the place to go!
