“We were taken to Carytown Indian Cuisine last night by our kids. We were so impressed with our experience! The food was amazing. I requested a specially prepared curry vegetable dish, and the chef/owner was happy to create it for me. Several of our party enjoyed tikki masala with chicken. We also enjoyed lentils, cooked to perfection and wonderful chocolate lava cake for dessert. The service was impecable. Our waiters were so attentive and responsive, even though it was a very busy night. The ambience was warm and classy. The chef/owner was so gracious and even visited us at our table. I can't wait to return to CIC.“

“We had a private dinner served to us by the 2 partners of Tulsi. They came to Vinnie and Rebecca’s beautiful yard and gave us a cooking experience we will all never forget. They cooked up some speciality meals that were perfect. Chicken, fresh vegetables from the gardens, very spicy mushrooms and of course nam . Everything was perfect! “The food was very good the portion size was great. Not many places in Richmond offer dosa when getting Indian food. Dosa is great visiting in rishikesh so I ordered one here and it was phenomenal. They offer services for the community in the Krishna house behind the building on certain hours. Updated from previous review on 2025-09-21“

“Good Memories!
I celebrated my birthday at this Indian eatery with my loved ones. The interior decoration and ambience were too good. The staff was very polite, friendly, attentive and helped us in selecting and modifying the spice level of the food. The serving time was not too long. Every dish we ordered were very delicious and made with fresh ingredients. They use edible flowers for garnishing food which adds both visual appeal and subtle flavour to dishes. They offer a wide variety of delightful Indian desserts. Do not pass up their desserts!
The food we tasted were-
Appetizers- Himalayan Pot Stickers, Tandoori Chicken
Main Courses-Chilli Cheese Naan, Butter Naan, Lazeez Kulcha, Lachha Paratha, Paneer Sarson, Goat Rasila, Punjabi Chicken
Sides- Masala Papad
Dessert-Kulfi Malai
