Friendly enjoyable staff. Great protein bowl! Fresh and hot!! Highly recommend! Look forward to my next refresh.

If flavor is what you are searching for, try somewhere else. This was a sad bland meal. Ordered the sweet chili chicken with rice, slaw, and spicy fries. It tasted more like watered down teriyaki chicken.

I decided to give this place a try cause I was craving for some Asian food. So, as soon as I walked in, I have not seen a single Asian person but hoped the food will be great. As soon as I took a bite of the chicken, I was so disappointed. It was so BLAND! Next came the "spicy" fries and it didn't even taste spicy at all. It's like they just sprinkled it with paprika. Also, the sesame balls or Jian Dui, they're even more disappointing. They weren't that sweet and it wasn't even a paste filling! 3/5.

zero exaggeration- this is the best food i've had all year. stopped by after a long day at kings dominion and the food was delicious! they have really good deals and an easy menu format.

For the moment, you can only do take-out from Kokonut Box but it's still worth a visit. The coconut rice is honestly some of the best I have ever had. And, the coconut box, with its option for two proteins, is really a great value.

tiny portions and the tofu had no flavor. the place is cute inside but there's very limited seating.

Love the online ordering experience and the flavors were correct!! Walkable from The Drury, easy pick-up, I was so pleasantly surprised at this find. 10/10Vegetarian options: Great tofu and veggie options

It is a good concept, an Asian version of Chipotle. The menu was limited and not a lot to offer. It is expensive for a quick bite.

Wanted to try something different. So I saw this restaurant. I went in not knowing what to get. The cashier to me to try the box it comes with two proteins and three sides. So I got the chicken teriyaki and sweet chili shrimp with rice and double fries. When I tell you it was delicious it was out of this world. They even had some cabbage on the bottom of the meat to soak some of the sauce up. Oh and let's not forget the tea. All I can say is I will be back again. It was worth every penny

Probably the worst hospitality I have ever seen. Overpriced and definitely not worth the time or the money. Food not worth it for the service, cost and worst atmosphere for a restaurant in the West End!!!

Got the grilled chicken but half of it was burnt... I couldn't even eat it and they messed up my order so my fries were missing.

Tried their koko bowl with crispy chicken, coconut rice, and French fries with their teriyaki sauce. I was excited to try Kokonut Box out but unfortunately found it to be underwhelming. The French fries were unseasoned and the coconut rice was dry. The crispy chicken was tasty and I throughly enjoyed the teriyaki sauce but it didn't seem like the items meshed well together. The portion was also much smaller than I expected it to be. I saw that they also had more fusion items like sandwiches and tacos which I would be interested in trying.

The fries were good....that's kind of where it ended for me. Ordered the tako box, no flavor. Crispy dumplings and vegetable rolls, were mushy on the inside. My daughter liked the boba tea and cold noodles. This place just wasn't not it for me.

This restaurant was underwhelming to me and my husband. We expected something a bit fancier than plain grilled or fried chicken. The Asian coleslaw was tasty but also underwhelming. Coconut rice tasty but easily prepared at home. The soda was one size only, a mere 16 ounces with no refills allowed. Neither were we allowed to use the restroom. Pretty sure that’s not even legal in a sit down restaurant.

My bf and I first decided to try this place last night and honestly the food was so good, we decided to come back the next day again! Food - I got the koko box both times, first with crispy chicken and spicy garlic sauce and second with crispy chicken and sweet chili sauce. Both combos were amazing but I wish the spicy garlic sauce had more of a fresh garlic taste than a cooked garlic taste (if that makes sense). It wasn't as garlic-y as I was expecting it to be but still good nonetheless! I saw pictures of the tofu and shrimp and that will be my next venture with sweet chili sauce! The cold sesame noodles were so good the first time around but when I ordered it the next day, it somehow wasn't as good. It could be because the first time around it was cold and separated from the chicken and the second time it was underneath the chicken but it just didn't taste as sesame tasting or cold. I'll try it again with another side next time to confirm - maybe the coconut rice. My bf got the koko ubi with crispy chicken and spicy garlic sauce and spicy fries side both times and he loves it. I doubt he will change his order next time he comes. Both times, he cleaned his plate completely. It would be better if they could have a description of some sauces like the KG sauce and what kind of sauce that is so it makes it easier to pick. Drinks - I got the mango bubble tea with strawberry popping boba and my bf got the honeydew with blueberry popping boba. My combo was a mistake because I wasn't really a fan. The mango was too sweet and artificial/syrupy but my bf liked it. He also has a sweet tooth and I don't so that might be why. He loved his honeydew with blueberry popping boba so much he finished it in like 10-15 mins. The only critique was that he wished he had received more popping boba! I would try maybe the milk tea and lychee next since I love traditional milk tea flavor (and I loved kokonut grill's malaysian milk tea when they first opened so I'm hoping its the same thing). It would also be better if they had a tapioca pearl/bubbles option as well. Additionally, it would be better if they added a couple of asian drinks to their fridge like sac sacs, ramune, calpico, aloe, mogu mogu, etc. Both times I came in, I remember looking at the fridge to see if they had any asian drinks and was disappointed when they didn't. All in all, this place is good. I tried kokonut grill at VCU when it first opened and I thought it was just decent but in the years they've been open, they've really improved and I'm impressed. So glad they did so well they were able to open a second location! Sure there's some room for improvement but they have a really solid foundation with room for just a couple of minor tweaks! We both will definitely be back and I can't wait to try the tofu and shrimp! Also - I saw they had custard buns and you best believe that's on my list of things to try there as well. Well done Kokonut Box and well done Tom!
