The pasta dishes were delicious, absolutely worth trying. The restaurant was quite busy on a Saturday night, just shows how popular this spot is. It was worth the wait.

Well worth the visit. I can understand why Mama Cucina is consider one best Italian restaurants in Richmond. Would recommend to any one that lives Italian food. Service was great and drinks were to die for. Atmosphere was nice and easy a little noisy but the restaurant is small so you should except some noise. However the ambience was great. Oh and yes you get what you pay for and more. The portions are generous. Well worth the time and money spent would recommend to anyone to visit and have a feast with family and friend

I was a little disappointed in the Carbonara. It was a little bland to me. It was like something was missing. Easily a difference in this place vs another place. The real off putting disappointment with the house salad. Half way through it and I find moldy tomatoes. Heck, the Carbonara might have been great and I was to distracted by the salad. I don't know for sure. I dont think I'll go back though. The moldy tomatoes killed it for me.

Oh, lovely atmosphere and I liked the wine list posted on a wine bottle on each table.

Good diner all things considered, but I was not fond of the food for my first time there, unfortunately. Considering the high ratings however, I may consider trying this place again with a different meal.

Absolutely fantastic! Huge portions. I had the broiled Salmon. It was tremendous. It's a small place but didn't feel cramped at all. Just a bit on the noisy side, but hey, it's an Italian restaurant.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to write this one. Best pasta in town, especially for how affordable it is, the value for what you get is honestly insane. Our waitress, Mona (I believe that was her name), was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for better service. The owner is also one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. You need to run here, not walk.

Food WAS GREAT. Service and food was top notch and you must get the dessert it's game changer Tiramisu was sooooo good. I had the Chilean Sea Bass 2nd Pic my sister had the seafood pasta both were flavorful. Other great thing was we had dinner the next day because neither of us could eat the entire plate. We will definitely be going back

Went last night with a party of six. We were immediately welcomed and seated. The lady that served us was wonderful. Sere was very attentive throughout our meal. The breast aand salad at the start was awesome and very fresh. Everyone ordered something different. The portions were huge and everyone was requesting a box for take home. The lady graciously took our plates and boxed everything up. The atmosphere was very pleasant and we were able to easily converse with each other. Would highly recommend this place to others
