“We visited last Friday around noon after spending time at the Library of Virginia. We were the first ones in. The place was pristine, full of light, and roomy. The server was attentive. We ordered and the food was brought to our table pretty quickly, which was good because we had another site to visit. The food was wonderful, absolutely delicious! The next time I visit Thai Studio I will venture into more spicy dishes. The chef was very happy to hear we enjoyed the food, flashing me a generous smile when I complimented the meal. “When a menu has both Thai and British fare, try both! Second time in with my wife and the food is fantastic. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. We had the pad Thai and fish and chips with the haddock. Best F&C I've had. The fish was cooked perfectly, the batter was light and crisp. The pad Thai was top notch as well. My wife likes it so much we are taking my mother-in-law back when she visits from Michigan.“

“Probably one of my ALL time favorite Thai restaurants. I always order to-go and their curry is massive and absolutely DELICIOUS (the green, red and Panang). Red is my fave, but green is less spicy if you prefer that. It’s honestly even better the next day after all the meat and veggies have soaked in the curry. I usually get with chicken or tofu. Their spicy minced chicken with garlic is also a hidden sleeper but the flavor is PHENOMENAL. Spicy, but you won’t be able to stop eating. Their rice soup is a nice go between if you’re eating spicy dishes. For their noodle dishes, you can pick pretty much any dish you want and it’ll be amazing. Just be aware the wide noodle dishes might be a bit dry so ask for extra sauce. Lastly, they’re probably better when dining in, but the blueberry egg roll dessert does not keep well during travel! I think they also use the same oil as their savory dishes to fry them and you can tell. But overall, this restaurant slaps and is well work your patronage !!“

“If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with great customer service and friendly staff… look no further than. A gem located in Ashland Virginia (Atlee). Food was DELICIOUS. Not salty, very flavorful. Well worth the money. You will not be disappointed.“

“Their Pad Thai chicken (extra chicken and. O peanuts !) is my all-time favorite, and I’ve worked my way through all six spice levels over the years. They offer a range from American mild, medium, and hot—then step it up with Thai mild, medium, and hot. I usually go with Thai spicy medium, which brings the perfect kick without overwhelming the dish’s flavor.

Another standout is their curry chicken with yellow sauce—rich, comforting, and a great change of pace when I want something different. And let’s not forget the crispy spring rolls—every time we’ve ordered them, they’ve hit the mark.

My wife and kids order different dishes than I do, and while I can’t speak to what they eat, I can tell you they always leave happy.

“My partner and I happened upon this place by accident as we’d had a reservation elsewhere but the staff was terrible.. it was meant to be because Mayu was amazing. Truly.

The vibes were immaculate. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was genuinely some of the best I’ve had in carytown.

It took me a second to get the theme of what was going on but once I did I loved it even more. The food came out very fast and everything, legitimately every bit, was fantastic.

We got 2 beers, 2 appetizers, 3 sushi rolls, and split pad Thai.. it was only $75.. and the quality was remarkable. The cucumber salad is so good we tried getting 4 orders to go. The sushi was fresh and well made. The pad Thai may be my personal favorite in Richmond.. I didn’t realize the person bringing us our food was actually one of the owners and what a gem of a human he was.

Above the bar played an anime movie and the wall decor matched. Its subtle anime theme works so well. I just can’t recommend this place enough.

“Very good restaurant. We love Thai food and have eaten here several times. Picked up to go order tonight and they left out our Thai fried rice entree. “My boyfriend and I pass here quite often and decided to try out of the blue one night. We entered around 830pm and they closed at 10pm. The meal we received was great. We started with their fresh rolls and each got separate and very different dishes. I tried their milk tea which was amazing and refreshing! This is a must try spot. I suggest go on a week day and at night. The place is quite small inside but cozy. ( if you’d prefer not to wait on a table) Please take time to visit. Parking behind the building.“
