“EASILY the best thai spot in the Richmond area. So lowkey and unassuming but their knowledge of thai cuisine truly speaks for itself. The ingredients taste fresh and light without compromising any flavor. I’d highly recommend adding some spice to your dishes if you enjoy spice because these folks aren’t afraid of a little kick. I love these hole in the wall type spaces that you’d never know are true gems until you give them a shot. I can’t wait to eat here again!“
“This is our favorite place to go for Chinese and Thai food. We have been going here for years. I typically get carry out and it’s always ready quickly even when it’s really busy. My daughter and her boyfriend usually try to eat at the restaurant when able it’s always been great ! The service and staff are very friendly!!! When restaurants had issues in 2020 Lin’s did not skip a beat. Even on busy nights it went smoothly for pick ups. If you haven’t given them a try you really should !“
“You want this food. This is the Chinese food spot for hull Street and moseley folks! I washesitant to try this places. Man was I wrong! It is delicious. We ate inside. We had crab wontons, chicken and Brocoli and Seaseme chicken. All fresh and wonderful. We had our 3 year old with us. They were so warm and welcoming to all of us. Eat here and you will not be disappointed!“
“Stopped by tonight as I am a fan of asian cuisine. The menu has plenty of good options but not too many which I appreciate. Pricing was very fair. Restaurant appears to be small in staffing, yet my waitress was plenty attentive and kind. I ordered the pad see ew and my partner order the pad thai. We both were very satisfied with flavor and portions. I felt appreciated as a customer here and I will be returning, if you’re in the area check this place out!“
“I love their Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. At first when you bite into them, they've got a different flavor and it might be kind of strange, but the second bite is incredible. For example the Pad Thai's flavor isn't primarily sweetness the way it is at most places, it's something different--I can't describe it, but it's great. And the Pad See Ew's flavor is a little different than other's and the noodles are softer and fresher, and it's overall a great taste. I'm so glad the Thai menu is available again! I missed it dearly.“

“The food was great! The young lady running the shift was very professional and friendly. When I got there she was already helping a customer so I was going to wait my turn. She did take a moment to greet me. While the other customer was looking for his card to pay, she offered me a free sample of one of the entrees. Once the other customer was done, she asked me about my order, I explained that this was my first time at Basil Thai Kitchen, so I wasn't familiar with all the options available. She was patient and described each option to me while making a few recommendations. I went with green beans, chili chicken, spicy chicken, and jalapeño shrimp.The atmosphere was pretty noisy, but I can't really hold that against Basil Thai Kitchen as they are located in Chesterfield Towne Center's food court. If you find yourself taking a walk at the mall or just window shopping, I highly recommend Basil Thai Kitchen.“
“A little bit of backstory: I just moved in from another state, and I needed to create a list of go to restaurants and businesses I can always count on for being good.My family is now ADDICTED to the sweet and sour shrimp and this one dish with veggies and chicken in the healthy section (which, as someone trying to watch her figure, is amazing for when I'm just too lazy to cook).For to-go orders they put the sauces on the side. It threw me off at first. We were able to save a lot of the sauces for future cooking though, so I can't be mad at it. I recommend using their versatile brown sauce for any dish you want to be savory.Those were the only two dishes that we tried as we combined our dinner that day with several restaurants to try to fill our list out, but seeing how it is so close, so good, cheap, and has nice staff? “5 stars all around. We arrived an hour before our reservations and they were quick to assist and accommodate us. The interior is laid out beautifully and the staff is great. They had several recommendations on drinks and food selection. The food itself was great and we will be returning. This is a great restaurant right in the comforts of our neighborhood.“
“The food was exceptional. I ordered beef basil and was very pleased. Others in our group are vegan and they were very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is open only for takeout, however they allowed us to use the inside tables for our takeout. Would highly recommend!!“
