Bbq was the best I’ve had in a while!!! Really rich meaty flavor, you can really taste the effort and time they put into each food item to make it taste good.
The best part: it wasn’t too heavy or overfilling! I had a brisket sandwich and two sides (which was a plentiful offering, I assure you), and by the end of the meal I felt full but not like I had over served myself. It was a good feeling, because I hate feeling gross after bbq.
But this place has the right stuff and quality ingredients that really tasted fantastic :-)

I’ve eaten here before and loved it one time. The BBQ had no flavor to it. The hush pups seemed overcooked. The Mac N cheese had no flavor.
The location is spot on. The price is fair. The service was great.
The food is not gonna wow you.
It wasn’t terrible but left me disappointed.

Excellent location for barbeque and fish. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Food arrived in a timely manner. Portion sizes were very filling. Everything tasted good and arrived hott and fresh.

Fantastic! The food was so good. Brisket Philly is now my favorite sandwich! Pork rinds, pulled pork, mac n cheese, redskin potato salad... we tried them all and so very good. The service is one of those places that sets the bar for friendly solid service. We were contacted by no let than 5 people making sure we were good. Local owned doing it right! We will be back soon too try the rest of the menu!

Been a few times. Have been doing take out lately. Got it tonight and they forgot the dressing for my salad. Nothing more frustrating than getting home and missing things from your order.
Got the platter to share. Pulled pork and ribs were awful. Dry. Maybe heated from last night. Brisket taste like a bland roast. Wings were ok just bland. Do not recommend

Literally throwing up for a third time after leaving this place. Something seriously wrong with the coleslaw. Was not cold, tasted like chemicals as if it were stored in an under sink cabinet. I told the waitress, she wasn’t concerned. “Are you ready for your check?” So much for the excellent brisket burger that just went down the toilet…

Brisket burger was excellent. Took one bite of the Cole slaw and almost threw up. Tasted like it’s been stored under a sink. Luke warm and chemicals. Disgusting. I let the server know. “Oh I’m so sorry. Are you ready for your check?” Maybe get a manager and go find out what the problem was. Obviously not stored in a cooler. Got to my hotel room and then threw up. Just disgusting. Feel like I was poisoned. They don’t care.

My husband and I frequent this location as we only live about 25 minutes away. While the menu is smaller than the original location in farmville, we have not had anything bad from this location. The service is always fast and we hardly ever have to ask for anything as our servers will check on us frequently. We have gone at all times of the day and all different days and don’t have any complaints! We even take our infant daughter with us, who just sleeps while we eat. If a manger is there while we are, they almost always stop by our table for a chat. We have never had any issues with food not being hot or missing anything or not being cook just right. There are one or two servers that aren’t super friendly and we prefer not to have them but I feel like that’s probably how it is at most restaurants. We enjoy the atmosphere and the food! Would recommend this location to any and everybody looking for a new food spot!
