“My husband and I enjoyed our Valentines dinner this evening at Olivia's in the Village. We had a 6:30 reservation and even though the restaurant was very busy, we were seated immediately. The food and service were wonderful as always. Thank you!”

“My husband and I actually prefer Los Portales in comparison to Juan’s. However tonight was awkward, because after TWO bites into my delicious steak fajita taco salad we were splashed by the busser who was NOISILY bussing the booth to my left (and before that, noisily bussing the booth behind my husband). She apologized, but it was too late—I was grossed out and went in search for the manager while wiping my face and arm. Long story short—we were offered another meal, but just too grossed out to stay and eat. Our waitress was so apologetic and would not take a tip. We do like the food, but it will be a while before we return. Noisily bussing tables using a bussing cart next to patrons who are eating is a very unpleasant distraction and just tacky, PERIOD!”

“Awesome local spot with seriously good beer! The Strawberry Blonde Ale is a standout — crisp, light, and just the right touch of berry. The whole place has a relaxed, family-friendly vibe with plenty of outdoor seating and room to hang. Perfect for a sunny day, and definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.”

“The caterer for my wedding on 6/14/25 backed out the night before with no refund. Patriots Grill was able to come through in the 11th hour and help us out. Everyone was fed and happy, the food was great, and I cannot thank Gabriel and his team enough for their empathy, help and support. A wonderful family owned place with a great heart!”

“My daughter in law and I stopped in for the first time yesterday. We both got the Monte Cristo, and OMG!!! Soooo freaking delicious! That jam, powdered sugar, cheese, sourdough...oh and the meat...messy and yummy! I splurged on the cinnamon toast crunch mega bar. All I can say is...I ate the whole thing! We'll be back!!!”

“Opening day and I was in and out in 15 mins!! That’s pretty good. I believe these are the same owners as the Yorktown location and they run a top notch store. Clean and efficient! “We visited Starbucks located off of Rt17 in Gloucester Virginia for a quick stop on our way to the beach.

I would suggest the Mango Dragon fruit Lemonade if you are not looking for caffeine, but want a refreshing drink on a hot, sunny day at the beach. Very delicious and kind of fun to eat, with chunks of Dragon Fruit.

The bathrooms were clean and the service quick and friendly. There was a lovely little outdoor seating area that was a nice change from sitting during a trip in the car.”

“My family celebrated my mother’s 74th birthday. Amongst us we have 3 diabetics, 3 without gallbladders and one with 13 food allergies as well as 2 with a lemon allergy. Our server not only was extremely helpful and accommodating but went out of her way to assist with menu suggestions regarding multiple food allergies. It’s extremely hard to accommodate my daughter’s multiple food allergies and she was very thankful. Our meal was enjoyable for us all. Our beverages were refilled promptly and all staff we came in contact with were kind, courteous and helpful. My mother had a delightful birthday meal and my daughter had no reactions. Thank you all for contributing to my mom’s birthday experience.”
