“For those of you living in the Hampton Roads area, we highly recommend taking a leisurely “Sunday” drive through Yorktown, Gloucester Point and up north a bit, to enjoy some of the finest dishes and hospitable service at either Scoots or Olivia’s In The Village. While there, ask for Garry, owner/manager of both. He and his staff will make you feel at home with great southern hospitality. 5 stars by our standards.”

“My husband and I actually prefer Los Portales in comparison to Juan’s. However tonight was awkward, because after TWO bites into my delicious steak fajita taco salad we were splashed by the busser who was NOISILY bussing the booth to my left (and before that, noisily bussing the booth behind my husband). She apologized, but it was too late—I was grossed out and went in search for the manager while wiping my face and arm. Long story short—we were offered another meal, but just too grossed out to stay and eat. Our waitress was so apologetic and would not take a tip. We do like the food, but it will be a while before we return. Noisily bussing tables using a bussing cart next to patrons who are eating is a very unpleasant distraction and just tacky, PERIOD!”

“The caterer for my wedding on 6/14/25 backed out the night before with no refund. Patriots Grill was able to come through in the 11th hour and help us out. Everyone was fed and happy, the food was great, and I cannot thank Gabriel and his team enough for their empathy, help and support. A wonderful family owned place with a great heart!”

“Not a fan of the ordering process. Stand in line at the bar and place your order over the counter. Guess it's a staffing issue but having to wait in line for 10 minutes isn't a great start to a meal.
Food was decent if a bit pricey (what isn't these days!)”

“People are very nice the food is ok but could be better would let to see more quality food for the price should be bigger place not very much room in the whole place very crowded all the time not that it's not saying it's not good food just needs more room I prefer not to be hitting so strangers in the elbow while eating”

“Awesome local spot with seriously good beer! The Strawberry Blonde Ale is a standout — crisp, light, and just the right touch of berry. The whole place has a relaxed, family-friendly vibe with plenty of outdoor seating and room to hang. Perfect for a sunny day, and definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.”

“Tried going for dinner tonight and one employee made us change our mind. From the moment we walked in the door, he had an issue. Then was complaining because they were running low on bread and continued to talk about it. While we waited maybe 5 minutes that all he did, we are almost out of lettuce and bread, we are going to have to close. Then another employee walked out of the restroom and he told him we are almost of of fricken bread. We turned around and walked out. Usually it's a wonderful experience, just not tonight.”

“Opening day and I was in and out in 15 mins!! That’s pretty good. I believe these are the same owners as the Yorktown location and they run a top notch store. Clean and efficient! So excited to have them in Gloucester right around the corner. Great job to their staff today! It was busy and they were all well composed. 👏🏻 😋”

“Had a nice experience at this Wendy’s! We ate inside and everything was clean, modern, and comfortable. The food was cooked well and came out fast, which was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful, and there were no issues with our order. Overall, a solid stop for a quick and easy meal.”

“Overall we had a wonderful experience. We were seated quickly. Our servers was quick, friendly, and brought drink refills without having to ask…always a good sign! Each kid got a different meal and cleaned their plate. Definitely recommend for families or anyone!”

“My family celebrated my mother’s 74th birthday. Amongst us we have 3 diabetics, 3 without gallbladders and one with 13 food allergies as well as 2 with a lemon allergy. Our server not only was extremely helpful and accommodating but went out of her way to assist with menu suggestions regarding multiple food allergies. It’s extremely hard to accommodate my daughter’s multiple food allergies and she was very thankful. Our meal was enjoyable for us all. Our beverages were refilled promptly and all staff we came in contact with were kind, courteous and helpful. My mother had a delightful birthday meal and my daughter had no reactions. Thank you all for contributing to my mom’s birthday experience.”

“I travel a lot for work, from Newport News to Charlottesville and anywhere in between, and I tend to go to Hardee's out of habit. This one is my favorite hands down. The bathroom is always clean and they're always fast with my food.”

“Our server Maegan J. was great, she was prompt, polite, was afraid to share her opinion on dishes, proper check back times on both appetizer and main course.
The atmosphere was quiet and appeared to be clean in the front of the house, now, that said, I can only speak for the mens lavatory, good lord almighty, that needs to be addressed, the urinal was caked in old urine, the sink looks like it hadn't seen proper attention and the toilet itself, I didn't even bother to look! The food was good, our server was great, and the front of the house team appeared to work together, but the bathroom was a major fail”

“It’s always hard finding a dunkin that makes the drinks and the food just right, but I got that here! They got both the drink and sandwiches perfect! The donuts are fresh, and their employees are greatly spreading kindness!

Found my new favorite dunkin in the area!”
