The food was good, the wagyu beef cheeks were very tender but the onion soup could have used a bit more cheese. The garlic bread smelled incredible and was so flavorful. “Jaques' Brasserie is the undercroft of L'Auberge Chez Francois. It has a simpler menu, but the food is prepared with the same excellence as L'Auberge. It's a more casual dining experience, but the service is still top tier. I had the sweat breads and calves' liver -- both were excellent. The wine list was perfect for the Brasserie, and the deserts and aperitifs were superb (I had a poire williams, my wife a Mirabelle, which are hard to find. We'll be back.“
