My wife and I have visited the Black Kettle twice in two weeks. We've ordered the Whiting fish dinner and the smoked sausage on a bun with fries. I enjoyed both. My one preference would be to have the fries fried a bit longer because I like crispy fries. The owner is real nice and social. We will visit again!
EAT HERE NOW! This is what I can tell you about the Black Kettle. I visited this week on Weds as they are close to my work, and I was starving at lunch. I opted for the BBQ party wings, mac and cheese and a drink. I knew as I walked up that something good was happening inside because the smell was amazing. What I didn't expect was the super friendly staff, and food that was so good, I was salivating thinking about that ridiculously delish mac and cheese. EVERYTHING was amazing....read full review

Amazing soul food! Found this place heading down to OBX on Google maps, the best 10 min diversion Mouth watering fried chicken like my grandma used to make and sides that will make you come back for more on your way back home!!
