This is one of the low key best restaurants in Newport News. Love their sides and cornbread. Potato salad is really good. Ribs are good, so are their wings. They have always been on point every time we have called, and they have never messed up my order. We have probably ate here a couple dozen times over the past few years, and food wise I haven't had soul food that compares on the peninsula.

My only criticism is I wish there were more entree options on...

Atmosphere and food were SO GOOD! Service was a bit slow as far as getting food and there were a couple items we ordered that we never received, but the server was nice. If you’re looking for a delicious, home cooked style meal this is the place to go!

We go here at least 1-2 x per week. The food is home cooked and delicious from their fried chicken, turkey wings, fried fish, and smothered porkchops. You cannot go wrong here. Just delicious.
