Always a great experience. So sad they are closing at the end of the year but happy I was able to be in the house for the last brunch weekend. Catch them during the week until they close if you can. You won't regret it.

While the food was good we were not impressed by the less than enthusiastic or pleasant service. Although the place was mostly empty at the time we visited we were told to wait until the hostess could come out and seat us. My gumbo came with a teaspoon and gumbo spilled over the side of the bowel. I asked for a soap spoon and was brought a slightly larger spoon. I had to ask for napkins and refill of my water. $20 for a bowel gumbo was over the top. $20 in Louisiana would have...
