We were seated about 15 minutes waiting for our drink order when another customer came in and sat across from us. As we continued to wait for our food, the other customer had gotten her food, eaten and was prepared to leave. I brought this to our server's attention and the customer then looked at us and stated that it was her fault. She had somewhere to be so they went on and fixed hers first. The server made no apology nor did she dispute what the customer said. We had been...read full review

Monsoon Eclectic Modern Indian is a well-regarded Indian restaurant known for its delicious and varied menu, rich and spicy flavors, and a fun contemporary environment. Currently undergoing renovations, the restaurant still offers a great dining experience for couples, families, and large parties, with pleasant and accommodating staff. Customers particularly enjoy the dal black lentils, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken dishes, along with a selection of freshly baked naan. The DHABA CHAI tea has received praise as the absolute best thing on the menu, with a remarkable price for its quality. The food is consistently fresh, tender, and flavorful, with the butter chicken noted for its amazing tenderness and great flavor, and the lamb chops praised for their phenomenal marinade and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. The rice and garlic naan are also highlighted as flavorful and hot. While the portion sizes are generous, the ambiance is described as a bit weird, with cold, hard lighting, marble floors, and soft jazz music that is hardly Indian. Service is generally efficient but can feel a little brusque during busy hours. Overall, Monsoon Eclectic Modern Indian provides a satisfying and authentic Indian dining experience that is worth a visit, especially once the renovations are complete.
