Food was excellent! I had the lamb vindaloo, garlic naan, soup of the day, and carrot pudding. If you like spicy go for level 5. I had 4 and it was pretty mild. Everything came out hot and flavorful. Service couldn't be beat either. I never dropped below a half glass of water before they would refill it. And as for atmosphere, although under renovations, I was comfortable. The renovation work is hardly noticeable. Will definitely return.

Bad:
First of all they are doing open construction. Raw, cut drywall everywhere. Electric wires hanging out by the mirror in the bathroom. It was dusty in the restaurant.

Good:
My food was delicious. I had the Chefs Garlic chicken tikka. That is definitely a reorder.

The food was fantastic. The service was efficient but a little brusque. The ambiance is weird. They have lovely wood tables and chairs, but cold, hard lighting and marble floors. The music is soft jazz, very nice but hardly Indian.

I recommend the place for the food. You won't hate the rest, and you will enjoy the food.

My first time at this location, also my first time trying Indian cuisine. Flavor was on point, but the portion size i received for $18.50 prior to taxes was ridiculous. There were 3 other people in my party. One dish arrived and 10 minutes later the rest of our food came. We also watched 1 table that arrived 10 minutes after us, eat before we received our food and leave before we finished our dinner. After we received our food no one came back for 15+ minutes to see if we needed anything. Instead they cleaned tables, when I asked for a refill the waiter came back 10 minutes later. They were not busy, we never knew who our server was. I voiced my opinion/complaint with a staff member, he apologized but there was no excuse!!!!I wont return

I would have to say the best Indian food ive ever had! Service was pleasant & quick with great recommendations! We ordered the butter chicken amazingly tender great flavor, also got the lamb chops to die for! Phenomenal flavor from the marinade & seasonings so so tender melt in your mouth! The rice was great & the Garlic Naan so fresh, hot, & flavorful. The fact that this place wasn't absolutely packed is crazy to me because they deserve a consistent line out the door. Currently going through a remodel & I am sure it will be gorgeous when it is done.

This is my go-to Indian place in all of Hampton roads. Honestly never once had a bad experience here. Chicken is tender and fresh. The veggies are all well cooked and spiced to perfection. I looove this place. Me and my staff frequently go here and it never disappoints. I hope they stay open forever.

It has a very clean and comfortable atmosphere. I must say about the employees of this restaurant that one of them( Akshay) was very hospitable and polite, and I have good memories with them.
