The food was fantastic. The service was efficient but a little brusque. The ambiance is weird. They have lovely wood tables and chairs, but cold, hard lighting and marble floors. The music is soft jazz, very nice but hardly Indian.

I recommend the place for the food. You won't hate the rest, and you will enjoy the food.

My first time at this location, also my first time trying Indian cuisine. Flavor was on point, but the portion size i received for $18.50 prior to taxes was ridiculous. There were 3 other people in my party. One dish arrived and 10 minutes later the rest of our food came. We also watched 1 table that arrived 10 minutes after us, eat before we received our food and leave before we finished our dinner. After we received our food no one came back for 15+ minutes to see if we needed anything. Instead they cleaned tables, when I asked for a refill the waiter came back 10 minutes later. They were not busy, we never knew who our server was. I voiced my opinion/complaint with a staff member, he apologized but there was no excuse!!!!I wont return

I would have to say the best Indian food ive ever had! Service was pleasant & quick with great recommendations! We ordered the butter chicken amazingly tender great flavor, also got the lamb chops to die for! Phenomenal flavor from the marinade & seasonings so so tender melt in your mouth! The rice was great & the Garlic Naan so fresh, hot, & flavorful. The fact that this place wasn't absolutely packed is crazy to me because they deserve a consistent line out the door. Currently going through a remodel & I am sure it will be gorgeous when it is done.

This is my go-to Indian place in all of Hampton roads. Honestly never once had a bad experience here. Chicken is tender and fresh. The veggies are all well cooked and spiced to perfection. I looove this place. Me and my staff frequently go here and it never disappoints. I hope they stay open forever.

It has a very clean and comfortable atmosphere. I must say about the employees of this restaurant that one of them( Akshay) was very hospitable and polite, and I have good memories with them.

Another indian restaurant that doesn’t like serving indian people. Stuck us in a corner. (There were numerous places where our party of 6 could have sat) No AC, No Fans. Waiter assumed since we are “desi” we didn’t want Ice Water. Understand it’s “hot” outside but if you want to be a “classy” restaurant, AC should be required. The plates seemed dirty and felt like they were in a rush to get us out. Any request we made, it seemed like it was an inconvenience for them. If renovations are such a problem why don’t you close the dinning hall and do take out only and finish the renovation? Food is good. Seemed like their curry portions went down and prices up. If it wasn’t for the fluffy naan, would probably never go there again.

The food here is really good—freshly made and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. They do take a bit more time than average to serve, but it's worth the wait. As a nice touch, they even gave us complimentary ice cream. Overall, a great experience!

The restaurant is currently being renovated. I expect the next visit. I’ll raise my rating on the atmosphere.
The food was adequate compared for the pricing. The staff was above average and treated me, (I look like a homeless person when I travel.) as well as they treated any of their guests.
The DHABA CHAI tea was above average and the price most excellent. I’ve paid three times this cost for tea that was half as good.
In my opinion, the DHABA CHAI tea is the absolute best thing and may be worth a visit just for that. Two visit spread across a few days the food was adequate The pricing is not off scale, especially for the area.
When the renovations are complete, this will be a wonderful date place.

Best Indian food in the area! Outstanding customer service!

The chicken was undercooked. I got very sick. My daughter told me the same thing happened to her. We are never going back.
