Today was my first visit to the Shahs Halal in Hampton. I ordered the Gyro chicken and lamb mixture. It was fresh, flavorful, and the restaurant was very clean. Check it out.
I've been to Shah's twice and definitely plan to go back. The first time I ordered kofta kebab gyro for my sister and golden shawarma gyro for myself. Both were tasty. I did remove the pickles from the shawarma sandwich, I preferred the taste without it. The 2nd time I ordered 2 kofta kebab gyros. The kofta is a spicy ground chicken cooked on skewers, removed, and served on pita bread. If you are sensitive to spicy food kofta may not be for you. Great staff and food was amazing, maybe my new favorite gyro spot, I had the lamb and beef gyro with the hot sauce, amazing!
