Being Philly native, this Philly cheesesteak was good but not great. It lacked that stong beef flavor which tells me the quality of the meat was not there. Other than that, which is a huge part, it was prepared well. I'll keep looking for that Philly taste.
I ate at this place two other times and the sub hit so much I had came from Norfolk just to go over there to get my usual cheesesteak, sub but this time it wasn’t as good. I don’t know what it was that was different, but it didn’t taste the same my third go around. I’ll probably give it one more shot.
Since I moved to Virginia back in 2019, this has been a staple meal for my family and I. Service is quick, food is always scalding hot because they just made it, and prices are more than fair for the amount of food you get. The bulgogi cheesesteak, the double cheeseburger, and the wings are all fantastic. Do yourself a favor and give this place a chance if you haven’t already; you’ll be thankful you did.
