My family and I came here after seeing a TikTok about it. The food was great, but the portion size for the French toast was smaller compared to other places I've been. Also, we arrived on a Sunday, so we were unaware that only the brunch menu is offered on Sundays from 11 to 4. Overall, the experience was nice and I would see myself going back.

I was searching for a Soul Food restaurant in my area and Siri suggested this one. It was wonderful. The restaurant itself was bright, cheerful and esthetically pleasing. I was warmly greeted by the hostess she asked if I was dining in or taking out. She led me to the take out area and the staff there was equally kind. Now to the food…the smothered pork chops w/gravy was delicious along with the cabbage. The cornbread was on another level. 👍🏾

This is a solid spot for delicious soul food. The flavors are authentic and everything tastes homemade. Just be prepared for service to run a bit slow at times—some dishes are cooked to order, which means they take longer but are definitely worth the wait. It’s a great place to visit with a group of friends if you want to relax, talk, and enjoy a good meal without feeling rushed. It’s also an excellent option if you call ahead and pick up your order for even quicker service....
