This is my go to place for lunch. The restaurant is an older establishment and has the feel of a small town family owned restaurant. If you are a fan of burgers, subs, or a home cooked breakfast than this is a great place. Everything is cooked to order and fresh.
Great little spot right outside the 50th street turnstiles for the Newport news shipyard. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is there prices are high for the amount of food you get. $10 for 2 breakfast burritos that ain't much bigger than taco bell breakfast burritos that are like 2.5o a piece. Does have fast service and good service too.

This spot is mostly open in the mornings for the shipyard workers. So they make their breakfasts fast. But if you get there around 7:30 in the morning when most of the shipyard will be gone then you can enjoy a decent breakfast that's at a pretty decent cost. The burgers in cheeseburgers are excellent if you can get them.
