Omg... It was my first time and my first impression wasn't too good. It took 1 hour to get the food ordered and received. It looked as though they had a system but it's just not enough room for them to spread and get stuff done. The wings were over cooked. Mac n chz was banging and the cabbage was good....I just wanted some vinagar for it. The pound cake had something crispy in a bite so I only ate half. It was really heavy and sorta dry. If I do go back I probably won't...
Ordered through GrubHub. I was missing my side and drink, so I received only 2 pieces of fish.. Our other order was the 5pcs fried scallop with Mac and potato salad. I'm guessing the delivery driver had my food in her car for a while because the breading on the scallop was soggy. Mac was a bit salty. Fish was fresh but I ended up having it as a sandwich so. -1 to the restaurant and -1 for GrubHub.
When you looking for soul food, this is the spot. There are other soul food restaurants in the area but Pollys is consistently good eats. No hit or miss here. Take out is quick and easy.
