Ok so don’t judge me but I went for the first time a while back and got the deluxe cheese steak with no mushroom substitute jalapeños and it was so delicious I ordered another one right after I ate the first one (big back)lol but now i get the same sub combo every time it’s always fresh and hot I had the pizza today also with the Italian sub combo and buffalo wings and all was great and delicious and fresh so if you want to try sals go to this one and not Newport News cause...

I used to live off King St and order pizza and lamb gyro from Sal's. They had the best lamb gyro. It has been about 3 years since I last ordered from Sal's. I ordered Pizza, Gyro combo and two side salads. The pizza was near perfect and the salads were crisp and fresh with tomatoes onions cucumbers and croutons. All of that was near perfect.

They gyro was not tasty at all. Lots of lettuce, tomato and onion and small amount of gyro lamb. There...

Used to be Sal's delivered my pizza. Now they pay Door Dash to deliver and based on the bad service and nasty looks from Door Dash Drivers my tip isn't making it to that driver... and I tip well.

So...good pizza, good food. Absolutely terrible delivery experiences on tap and flowing.
