The food is very tasty, seasoned well, the service was great very friendly and attentive. They had live jazz which is really nice. Had the shrimp and grits and lamb burger bothe very good. They make their French fries from scratch and really are fantastic. Definately recommend
My husband and I treated ourselves to dinner at The Baker’s Wife last night. Our meal was wonderful and the service exceptional. Our table was just inside the door, which offered a great view of the beautiful bar and a peak at the chef and the workings of the open kitchen nearby. Linsey, our server, is a gem! I love patronizing places where I live. I want them to be successful so I'll have choices on this side of the peninsula. I took my friend out for a birthday celebration. She warned me Baker's Wife could be pricey. The bill was $195 before gratuity. 2 glasses of wine, a bottle of sparkling water, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, an order of bread (additional cost)and 2 desserts. Not a problem.
