I am VERY DISSATISFIED! I purchased 4 meals around 1pm on 4/13/2024 and apparently it was too early for them because they gave me the oldest, nastiest Mac n cheese I have ever had and I am disappointed! The yams were also old and cold so my guess is that they warmed up the food from the day before and sold it to me today! I will be contacting my bank for a refund!

My daughter wanted chitchattings so I found this place. Wow am I so impressed, will order from there from here on out. So tasty and absolutely delicious. Only place I could find them.

First time trying staff was nice, they were pretty busy as well so we were excited.Looked nice and clean in the building smelled good as well.
I got the fish and shrimp substituted the whiting for the tilapia I asked how many pieces of fish and was told 2 but only received one. The fish was the best part of the meal it was seasoned well fried to perfection. But unfortunately it was soggy due to the collard green juice which was very bland.
The shrimp was too salty.
The macaroni had no season very bland as well and it had collard juice in them as well.
Which made my roll soggy. We wanted dessert but they were out of carrot cake and sweet potato pie and even the yams .
Other than that nice portions good prices but food needs seasoning!!

Gotta choose your main and sides carefully here. Haven't tried all of the food, but some things are definitely better than others. The fried shrimp and collard greens are the best things I've tried so far. Worst has been the BBQ chicken and cabbage.

They messed up my order and I didn't check it before I got home I order mac and cheese collard greens and meatloaf. But instead they gave me cabbage and collard greens kiss of the first soul food place that I visited and they don't have cornbread to go with the greens and cabbage. Dang you don't eat a roll with cabbage and collards. The meatloaf was delicious and the cabbage was good, but the c collard greens was very salty. I think I'll stick with Bowman's
