My food was cold. The worst part was when I got to the house, my orders were wrong. Called several times and no one answered the phone. I'm visiting family here in VA and it's too cold to go back to a restaurant that was not busy. Never had a problem with any Zaxby's I go to in SC and NC. I'm very disappointed.

I went to the Hampton zaxby’s on 12/10/25. I got there at 10:35 am , ordered a fried chicken house zalad w/ extra finger on the side. After about 15 mins I asked the young lady how much longer it would be. She asked them in the back making it and, you would have thought I asked for $$$, the attitude I heard from the person whom was asked was ridiculous. I heard her say ( in a very nasty tone) “she’s gonna have to wait, it’s coming, she did order an extra finger” I finally got my food at like 10:55, needless to say my extra finger was not on the side like I specifically asked for. My food had more brown lettuce than normal, the chicken tasted old it definitely wasn’t fresh, and the toast tasted old. I will not ever go back to that Zaxby’s….horrible, horrible service

I recently had a very troubling experience at this Zaxby’s location. My girlfriend felt extremely uncomfortable due to inappropriate behavior from an employee — behavior that, from our perspective, crossed personal boundaries and came across as harassment. We reported the situation immediately, expecting management to take it seriously and address it professionally.
Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed and unheard. The managers did not seem to take meaningful action, nor did they offer any reassurance that the issue would be investigated or prevented in the future. As customers, and as people who value a safe and respectful environment, this was incredibly upsetting.
We genuinely hope the leadership at this location reevaluates their response protocols and provides better training so that all guests and employees can feel safe and respected. No one should have to experience discomfort like this, especially in a place where people simply come to enjoy a meal.

The young lady on the intercom was very rude I felt very rushed. Don’t feel like I was able to complete my order as I should when I got to the window, you can tell from her body language that there was some type of attitude given towards me as a paying customer. I don’t appreciate the attitude when I’m only there to support the business. Maybe I’ll try another location next time and not this one. This isn’t the first time I received bad customer service.

Food was pretty good but it took half an hour to get it. Apparently there was some kind of issue with the system but it was never communicated to us. We had to go up to ask and all the staff was just on their phones.

We ordered a mobile order and picked it up in the drive thru. Our order was correct and everything was there. The people at the drive thru were really nice. I absolutely love the Zenzational Asian Salad. It comes with an egg roll and a very good Asian dressing. My husband likes the new dry rub Lemon Pepper Wings. My son loves the Wings and Things which comes with chicken wings, tenders and fries and you choose your level of heat in the sauces. He likes Nuclear and Tongue Torch, which is too hot for me, as I like Wimpy sauce. It's even good to dip your fries in.

Today I witness the cashier getting into it with a customer. Now the customer wasn't clean of their actions but some of what was said was merited. This location has drama after getting food here. It's sad because my city doesn't have a Zaxby's and this is the closest location to my home. Then the shift manager arguing with a doordash contractor about their order out in the lobby vice taking it outside. Come to think about it, didn't realize they had time to get Crackle Barrel on their break, but alas on that. Customer service is pretty much nonexistent here at this location from the front. At least this doesn't affect the cooks who do their thing!
But overall I'll give this location a 1.5 out of 5 which can be improved on if they take the time to train on customer service and the employees having patience. I know it's not the easiest job as I've worked fastfood customer service but gotta put pride to the side. If there's an issue, get the shift leader or manager immediately; that's why they make more to deal with this!

A young girl had an attitude. I ordered and also requested 2 drinks; a lrg Sprite and a peach Sweet tea when I got the window to pay they did not add the Sprite. So I attempted to pay for the missing drink and the young girl said I can't order a drink because the order was finished. I asked her to clarify because I ordered the drink, they just forgot it
The manager came up and he rectified every and gave me the drink free.
I appreciate the mgr taking care of the mistake, but the young girls attitude was not called for. You don't talk crazy to customers after you've made a simple mistake; she just needs better customer service training...

Decided to try the lemon pepper wing and tenders. My wings were pretty dry and for my taste buds pallet not much lemon pepper seasoning😅😭. My fries had more seasoning than my wings. The tenders were tasty and fresh. I’d say if I go back I’d request a fresh batch of wings and maybe a cup of lemon pepper 😭😎

Went through drive through around 1:30pm on a Wednesday. Ordered kids tenders with regular size sweet tea. Got to window was handed a kids size drink with the drink dripping all over sides of cup. Politely asked if she could wipe cup off. Handed back to me and I asked if it was sweet tea and she said no Coke. I said I ordered sweet tea. Closed window in my face. Another woman opens window and takes cup. I said this is coke and I ordered tea. She says we are out of tea. The first person didn’t tell me that. I said ok I’ll take Diet Coke. Says we are out of that too. So I asked for lemonade. She leaves to get lemonade and walks past guy filling the sweet tea. When she comes back I asked if he had filled the sweet tea? She close window and turns her back to me. I beep my horn and she will not turn around and help me. Another woman comes up and says what do you need? I said I wanted sweet tea. She finally got me a cup of tea. They were all RUDE. First girl got mad at me for nothing. No wonder places can’t stay open. People are rude and don’t want to work. I’ll never eat here again 👎
