Our Montevideo high school 50th reunion gathering was originally scheduled for 6-9 pm Friday October 2 but the manager notified us that another reunion group asked for the same room at the same time so the manager diplomatically suggested we adjust our time 5-7 pm and other group meet 7-9 pm. This weekend in Harrisonburg was extremely busy with JMU parents weekend, JMU home football game vs Marshall, Dayton Days, and Mennonite Relief sale, so Macado’s was slammed but...
We came for dinner on a Sunday night and it was ok, but not great. Our server was nice, but definitely seemed new to it. The food was ok, though the fries were a little too salty and the soft pretzel wasn’t salted at all. We asked for small plates with our appetizer and the plates were dirty, we had to send them all back. The margarita was way too sour, probably the worst I have ever had. I couldn’t drink it. The atmosphere is fun and our kids liked the arcade.
