“We absolutely LOVE Oriental Cafe! Our family has been going there for YEARS and they’ve never disappointed. We’ve tried dozens of things from the menu (including from the sushi menu) and everything has been spectacular. The food and especially the vegetables in the entrees are fresh, high quality. The staff and especially the ownership are very friendly, kind, professional, and respectful. And the prices are very fair. Can’t recommend this place enough, it’s absolutely worth going!“
“Finally gave this place a try and was no disappointed. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and tasty food. We opted for one of the sushi combinations and everything was fresh and flavorful. They even have a sauce station with spicy mayo, white sauce, and yum yum sauce.“
“Wow!!! I work in Harrisonburg, but live in Washington DC and go home on the weekends....but this place is THE BEST Japanese Restaurant that I've been to throughout the entire DC Metro area. I always order the Vegetable Hibachi with the Carrots and Zucchini ??...delectably scrumptious ?. Service is always top-notch and food is definitely second-to-none!!“
“Most the food is excellent except for Tempura which is unseasoned and greasy. The waitstaff are friendly, accurate and attentive. We had a large party of 11 and they accommodated us well including a reservation. The restaurant is esthetically pleasing and clean. They currently serve "all you can eat" but it's a tad pricey. My meal with hot tea, tax and tip was $35.“
“Today was the 1st time eating at this restaurant and I must say..it was delicious. I ordered the wonton soup and steamed pork dumplings and they both were so good.Parking: I had no problem parking in the parking garage.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem“
“We have been going here for over 20 years - never been disappointed. It is our go to restaurant for special occasions (several times a year because this is where everyone picks for their birthday). Hibachi is alway tasty, chefs are friendly and the yum yum is the best. The sushi is great as well.“
“Outstanding Chinese fooooood. It's a buffet style that makes Waynesboro Ming Garden, a second rate eating. They have a large selection of everything. Sushi bar, top quality taste and very respectful environment. You are missing out if you want Chinese food.“
“Best sushi I've had in Harrisonburg! Good sushi is hard to come by in this town but so far, Sushi Jako has been the best I've had. It wasn't as good as sushi places in big cities, but for a small town in does a good job in satisfying that sushi craving. Didn't dine in, but the inside was cozy with a warm ambiance. Service was a bit slow.“
