“One of my favorite restaurants in Harrisonburg. I grew up eating hummus and falafel, and the hummus here is maybe the only one I’ve ever liked as much as or better than my mom’s. The family who run the restaurant are so nice, and the food is incredible. My favorite is the chicken shawarma salad with cilantro lime dressing and a side of hummus. Yummmmmmm. Also they just recently renovated and redecorated the dining room and I think it feels much lighter and more spacious.“

“Adam Caldwell was a wonderful waiter. I had my entire family with my tonight and at one point in the night my child was crying. Adam Caldwell brought out a pack and play and sang my baby to sleep with a lullaby. After this, he offered me a free oil change and tire rotation as he held my hand out to my car. I would highly recommend eating at this establishment, as long as you ask for Adam Caldwell.“

“My granddaughter and I were having grandma day in Harrisonburg. We ordered burgers fries. Brussel Sprouts Fried Pickles and Fried Tomatoes. The Brussel sprouts live up to their hype. A bit of crunch and most delicious. The tomatoes were done perfect. crispy on the outside- juicy on the inside as were the pickles. My granddaughter received the Wrong order yet the manager made it right. He offered a free dessert on the house and my granddaughter recieved the right burger and fresh made French fries. The service, ambience and food here was amazing!“

“I have visited here many times, and have always enjoyed it. While the place could be kept a little cleaner, overall it’s a solid breakfast spot and bagels and coffee spot. Prices are reasonable and food is solid.

“This place was AWESOME! Best sweet tea I’ve ever had! Their fries are AMAZING! Our family got chicken tenders, brisket, a steak, wings and the fish and every single thing was just incredible. “Without fail, my husband and I frequent Taste Of Thai at least once every 2 weeks. Although we usually order the same things, it’s because the food is consistent and delicious. Portions for dining in are substantial and always good. Service is always friendly and fast. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough“

“The portions are much smaller than they use to be. The orange chicken use to be loaded with enough for 2 meals. They dont load the boxes like they did a few years ago. For almost $17 its not really worth it anymore. Went to Martin's and guy at the chinese place in the back gave me nearly 5 lbs of food for $12.00. I had to rethink if this place is really worth the money. After sending them a photo he said he checks with the chefs and they said they didnt do it because my box was super light. Obviously if I sent a photo the photo clearly shows what I got. He did give me another box the next day so I do appreciate that and cant knock the service or food. I would just say the portions are much smaller than they use to be. He did replace the meal which made the portion similar to the old portion that you use to get the first time so I am giving them 5 stars for that but I do think they need to go back to their old ways and hook people up. I use to love to this place because of the giant portions and the higher quality ingredients but now its not quite as good as it use to be. Its still really good but they are not giving 3 lbs boxing like they use to be. Maybe 1 lbs now. The rice box is not over loaded anymore either. They measure it right to the line. It use to be packed so much it would nearly spill out the box.“

We were served by the owner, David Engel, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about both the food and the people he serves. That personal touch made the experience even better. The food was incredible. I paired the Tomato & Gouda Bisque with a grilled cheese, and it was hands down the best soup and grilled cheese combo I’ve ever had. Perfectly rich, comforting, and full of flavor. I also had the Chipotle Pollo wrap, and it was easily the best wrap I’ve ever eaten. Fresh ingredients, great balance, and clearly made with care. To top it all off, they had big cookies baked fresh that gave the perfect delight to end the meal. You can tell real pride is taken in both the food and the customer experience. Great portions, great prices, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone I know.“
