Delicious food and reasonably priced. Wonderful selection of meats, salads, sides and desserts. Our waitress could have checked on us more frequently than she did to refill coffee and drinks
I used to go to the Wood Grill in Charlottesville a lot when I was in college. This one is better. Came for lunch on a Saturday. Great buffet with a lot of options. The fried chicken is really good as is the fried shrimp. The steak here is the kind that you eat with ketchup or steak sauce. It's buffet steak and I accept that. Dessert options were plentiful. 2 complaints, first would be the food didn’t have labels…when I asked why, my server said the locals know the buffet. I’m not local, wasn’t sure what some of the food items were(minus 1 star for mystery food items). My second issue/observation was that some of the staff was more interested in playing on their phones than helping customers( minus 1 star for service). My server was great, luckily.
