The service is super bad here I was waiting to get ice on my cup and they ignored me. I was standing in line for 10 minutes and the cashier knew I was standing there and didn’t do anything. Never go to this place the food isn’t even fresh.

My wife drove out of her way (very far out of her way) after work to pick up dinner here on Tuesday, December 3rd. She had me on the phone so I could direct her to this location and relay my order when she arrived.
Google and Checker's website both said the restaurant was open until 9pm. She arrived at 8:06pm. Checkers was closed - lights out, screens off.
There was one girl there, apparently with the adjacent pretzel place. Auntie Anne's, maybe? The young lady's ability to speak English was too poor for any meaningful communication. She couldn't help with an explanation as to why Checker's was closed an hour earlier than advertised.
We haven't had Checkers in years and were both really looking forward to it. I don't know if there were unusual circumstances which required them to shut down early or if the advertised hours are simply incorrect.
Either way, the whole experience was very disappointing - wasted gas, wasted time, and dashed expectations. My wife doesn't have the forgiveness or patience that I try to cultivate. We won't be visiting this location again.

Where do I start? First the area around the "restaurant" is less than appealing. The service just sucked, sorry. The proprietor was not helpful or friendly. There was a commercial about a brisket burger (hamburger with brisket). It was not on any menu. I had to ask about it. Of course the reality was nothing close to the commercial. First the burger is TINY! Then he puts like a teaspoon of minced up brisket. Was it tasty? Yes, it was. But not worth the price. I rarely am so negative - I try to be honest and precise. I would not go back, at least not this location.

The customer service was excellent, my fries were cooked hot and fresh and it took at least 2 mins if that for them to be ready! I will be coming back

The only complaint , it’s in a Walmart with no drive
The location does not provide safe /adequate room for people to dine outside at the tables. Way too close to the drive thru traffic. Seems like this restaurant was rushed to open and thoughful planning went out the window!

Arrived before closing to grab a meal. Waited and waited until the guy finally came out a minute after 10 and said "Sorry, we're closed." Very disappointing.

Checkers was amazing. It was my first time and although they didn't have the strawberry ice cream, I understand,life is tuff, but the hamburger and vanilla cone saved my life. I was really hungry and on a budget. This is blessed. Thank you Checkers in Walmart in Virginia
