I often visit the Five Guys in Gainesville, especially since the new combos made it much more affordable. I thought tonight I'd mix things up a little and visit the Haymarket location to see which one I prefer. Hands down Gainesville! The layout of the restaurant, the staff, even parking is better at Gainesville. The food was good at both so if you're ordering online for delivery there's no big difference but in person I'll definitely keep going to Gainesville.

I was pleasantly surprised that this location does not have more 5-star reviews. Visiting from Long Island (near NYC), I found the quality here to be excellent. The burger was well-proportioned given current pricing, and the ingredients were fresh and neatly prepared. The fries were especially impressive—crisp and well-seasoned, unlike the soggier versions I have experienced at other Five Guys locations.

Five guys is a favorite of mine, I started going to Five guys when there was only one store. I took many people there even my wife when we started to date. I remember the father and the brothers actually making the burgers and taken the orders. The beaugard store was my favorite in the beginning it was small and had no seats. The first store was at Glebe road and Columbia Pike. Five guys is still good, I appreciate what they have become, the franchise has not taken the quality...
