Be aware, this is all staffed by volunteers, even the Cafe. Outstanding, home-made foods in the Cafe, went to the Blacksmith Guild area, really wonderful. Be sure to go upstairs to the Weavers Guild.

Visited the tavern during a festival, but it rained the entire day. All the vendors were wonderful, though. Ate while we were there and really enjoyed the food and service. Will have to go back when it isn't raining.

Beautiful and peaceful, people were so amazingly nice and welcoming, left with a full belly, a nice little tour, and had a chance to meet and greet the wonderful sewing/knitting ladies..Wonderful and definitely recommend!!!

Tasty food, a lovely place to eat (I enjoyed my lunch outside, and there is indoor seating as well), and the sweetest folks providing it all. Loved the key lime pie! Bonus: shopping in the tavern art guild shop, where every item is unique and handmade by local artisans, and prices were so reasonable!
Excellent food, all volunteer staff and artists guild. Impressive effort of this community

What a lovely day we had visiting the Tavern today. The ladies went beyond hospitality and the food was absolutely delicious. Great group of ladies. We thoroughly enjoyed their warmth and hospitality and conversations. I will definitely be coming back.

I’ve been in several times for lunch and it’s delicious every time. Stop in for lunch and shopping. Lots of local artists have their goods for sale. Unique place and I’m so happy it’s local to us!!

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff (volunteers?) were so friendly and their crafts are so lovely. I love that the items for sale are all handmade. From woven fabrics and quilts to pottery and jewelry, they have a little bit of everything. The culinary guild do an amazing job and I would highly recommend enjoying a meal while you are there. Everyone was delightful and we had the pleasure of returning the weekend for what they called the farmer's market (though it was also other products for sale). Everything was wonderful.

We stopped off at the Tavern Cafe for lunch and It was amazing. This little quiet place off a country road in Heathsville Is a local treasure. All their breads are homemade from scratch! We had a slice of almond brioche with zucchini minestrone. We had to also try blueberry scones.... buttery, light, dreamy. Yes, they have coffee! Did I mention the pies? Amazingly delicious
