Today was my first time trying Mezah. I ordered pickup. When I walked in, they just kept talking to each other in Spanish. Then finally she acknowledged me and I said I had ordered pickup. She said it’s over there (pointing to the pick up shelf) but in a very rude way, like how stupid could I be to not know where the pick up shelf was. I grabbed my food and as I’m walking out, they were very clearly laughing at me (talking in Spanish). So, I won’t be back here! The food was good though.

Our family of five visited this restaurant and had an outstanding Mediterranean lunch in Short Pump, VA. We had Falafel bowls and a falafel pita sandwich. The portions were big, vegetables very very fresh, the falafel and Pita bread were piping hot and made fresh in front of your eyes and the toppings very many and delicious!! To top it all, the service was very friendly and professional. A definite go to place when next in the area. They had plenty of indoor/outdoor seating with a very vibrant decor. Lots of parking around.Vegetarian options: Falafel, salads, etc.Parking: Free parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel accessible institution.
The food is good, which is why we keep ordering from here. But I'd say 8/10 times we order from here our order is incorrect or missing something. If you order and pickup, check your order thoroughly. The staff here is not friendly or helpful.

Terrible customer service the first visit, but the food was fantastic. This visit... neither rice available, and only falafel and one chicken option for protein section available, told 20 minute wait for other options. Updated my wife's order, then ignored for 12 minutes by the staff (all three) before giving up and leaving. Customers waiting behind me said this particular location has inconsistent quality and that service is often bad, but that other locations are consistently great. Whoever manages this location needs to make some changes.
