Compared to its Mediterranean chain competition, Mezeh has an equal or better choice of side dishes/dips/toppings. That's great. The staff is fairly friendly and helpful. Tables could use a bit more cleaning. However, my biggest complaint is the beverage bar, which has some weird combinations of drinks, most of which taste rough. Also, both regular and diet cola were broken. This was also true in Charlottesville. The company should really work on improving this area. Until...
Five stars to support. I feel they're a bit understaffed pretty often. Ownership/management, if you don't have recs open, get on that. If you do, give everyone a raise and increase the starting pay. Maybe then people will start applying.
The food here is great. You are able to create your own bowl or wrap or you can get a pre-created bowl or wrap if you choose. I got a create your own wrap with; lam, white rice, pickled onions, cucumber, lettuce, tzatziki, and their new sauce avocado ranch, and it was delicious! I also go a baclava and a cookie. The cookie was a little to sweet for me, but otherwise it was pretty good. The baclava was super crunchy and a little dry and I feel like it could use a little more flavor....
